Hey y’all! I hope you had a great week! Soooo I’m not sure if I missed the memo or have just been living under a rock because two of my absolute favorite retailers partnered together and I’m just now discovering it! Target and BaubleBar have collaborated to create a fabulous new line of jewelry called Sugarfix and I am obsessed. Target always takes care of me…luh you boo.  The line offers a wide variety of jewelry from statement necklaces, chokers, bracelet stacks, and tassel earrings. The best part about this line is the price point. Most everything is under $30. You get the quality and style of some of your BaubleBar faves, but for a fraction of the cost! You can check out the entire line here: SUGARFIX

Today, I’m highlighting my Weekend Wish List with some of my favorite earrings from this line. I love a good statement earring and these are all SO fun and on-trend! All of these are under $15. Yes, you read that correctly…I couldn’t believe my eyes at first either. ALL UNDER $15!!! Tassel earrings continue to be on trend for spring and all of these pictured below are available in multiple color choices. My absolute favorite are the Beaded Geometric Drop Earring (top right.) The colors are gorgeous! Shop all of my picks below and check back with the blog tomorrow night as I present my first weekend update on my plant-based diet with several delish recipes!! (Did I survive? Spoiler Alert- YES!) Happy shopping and stay styled, sugarplum!

Happy New Year, loves! I’m sorry I’ve been MIA lately…my hubby started a new job in September and we have been traveling back and forth from Charleston to our hometown (we’re baaaaaaack) for house hunting, packing, and preparing for our move. After three months of living out of boxes and hustling to sell our house…POOF! We sold our old house and then closed on our new home the Tuesday before Christmas. Great timing!!!! Notttttttttt…but the important thing is that 1. we survived and 2. we are happy, healthy, motivated, and ready for our new adventure! There’s nothing like a clean slate to really get priorities in order. It was a fantastic time during our move to purge my closet and assess winter necessities. Do you get the itch to purge, rearrange, and organize things in your home? I always try go through my home before Christmas to donate to those in need and also start the new year off with less clutter and a fresh perspective. This time of year, I also find myself sometimes in a fashion rut…organizing my closet can be instant inspiration to style new pieces together and then purchase whatever else I need to add to my collection. Right now is a perfect opportunity to shop for whatever else you may need for your cold-weather wardrobe since retail stores are about to make the seasonal switch to spring. There are LOTS of after Christmas/New Year’s sales currently running to get winter inventory OUT. Good news for us!

Behold the Monthly E D I T for January. I’ve styled this look so that rich hues pop from grounded neutral tones. I consider all these pieces closet staples, seeing as you can mix and match all of these items individually with numerous looks for different occasions. There’s a slight boho vibe with the wide flares and floral blouse, but elevated to today’s trends with the maize and python Vera Bradley crossbody and a modern twist with accessories. I’m a bit obsessed with this crossbody bag and mayyyy have ordered it myself…late Christmas gift to me, from me?!? Who can resist when it’s 50% off making it only $60! Several of these items are on sale right now, so I’ve listed them below. You can shop the entire look in the scroll box under the picture.

Hey everyone! Are you gearing up for the holidays? Have you made your list and checked it twice? I know one struggle for me is shopping for the men in my life. It’s always super easy to shop for all the ladies of the family, but when it comes to the guys…struggle is real! Most of them already have the gadgets, electronics, tools, and clothes they want and need, so it leaves me trying to think outside the box…AKA complete panic and stress during the hectic Christmas shopping crunch time. Well, stress no more! If you haven’t heard about Jord Wood Watches (I published a post over the summer featuring their women’s collection- find it here: Jord Wood Watches ), I’ll give you a quick overview! Jord is a premiere wood watch company that prides itself on the unique craftmanship, quality, and style of their timepieces. Their men’s line is so stylish and handsome and would make THE perfect holiday gift. My husband has the Dover series watch in Zebrawood and Dark Sandalwood and has received so many compliments from his friends, coworkers, and clients. It’s definitely a conversation piece!
This particular watch is self-winding (no battery required) and has a deployment buckle with push buttons for secure closure. It’s available in four different wood combinations and they also offer personalized engraving, sizing, and free shipping worldwide! Talk about the total package! Speaking of packaging…
The watches come packaged in a wood keepsake box and the packaging is just as unique and special as the watch itself. It’s completely obvious that so much thought has been put into every detail!

You can shop the entire men’s collection here: Men’s Collection

OR if you want to browse and possibly treat yourself too (’tis the season… come on, you deserve it), you can shop the women’s collection here: Women’s Collection

I hope you’ll check out these amazing watches because time is running out! Gotta get the orders out to Santa asap! 😉 Have a great weekend and a holly jolly Jord Christmas! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions! Happy shopping!
Until next time ✌️| Stay styled sugarplum!💋

The November Monthly Edit is all about holiday events. Now that the holidays are in full swing, I chose these items as inspiration for upcoming holiday parties and winter weddings.
This is such a fun twist on the basic little black dress. I love how the bell sleeves and off-the-shoulder trends join together with an A-line hem to make this dress really shine. This LBD is from ChicWish and a steal at only $62. Shop here: Chic Wish Simple Elegance Dress
I’m also in love with this fur jacket from H&M. It’s right under $80 and is the perfect choice for dressy and chic outerwear during those cold nights! It’s super versatile because you could also wear it for a date night or girl’s night out with ripped denim, heels, and a lace top. Shop here: H&M Fur Jacket
These heels are so so so pretty. They come in a wide variety of colors (black, gold, silver, embellished), and they’re all under $100. I like the fact that they’re kitten heels, so you can dance all night and not break your ankle after a few glasses of champagne. Not that I’m speaking from experience, although to be honest, I’m extremely surprised that hasn’t happened to me yet. Keeping it real! Shop the featured heel here: Macy’s Kitten Heel Pumps
For accessories, I’ve chosen this super fun Rebecca Minkoff Sofia Clutch, Elizabella Drop Earrings from BaubleBar, and Oversized black & gold sunnies from Nordstrom.
These accessories add a little bling factor to the ensemble. I absolutely love the metallic tassel details on the Sofia Clutch and it definitely compliments the different metallic/neutral colors from the earrings. I chose a dramatic red lip in the shade D is for Danger by MAC. This is slightly deeper than a traditional red, and a very sophisticated color. Plus, I feel like a bold red lip instantly brings attention and dresses up your look. The sunnies are a nice final touch (if your event begins during the day) with the gold mirrored lens and solid black oversized frames. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I’m already looking forward to next month’s edit: Holiday gift ideas! Shop all of my Holiday Edit picks below and as always, you can refer to this post in the Monthly Edit Menu!

Hey guys! I hope you had a great week! I am so excited about Halloween on Monday! What are your plans for the weekend? Any fun Halloween parties or festivals? We are going to the pumpkin patch and carving pumpkins. My son is going to be a T- Rex (dino obsessed!) I am going to be a paleontologist and I’m trying to convince my hubby to dress up as a hatching dino egg…we shall see about that one! I saw this really cool “no carve” DIY idea for rainbow pumpkins that I may try on a white pumpkin. You hot glue crayons (whatever colors you want to use) facing outwards, all around the stem of the pumpkin at the top. Then, you take a hairdryer and hold above the crayons until they melt for this cool drippy effect. Sounds awesome (hopefully not another Pinterest fail because most of the time, that’s how it ends up for me) soooo, if I do it- I’ll make sure to post pics on Instagram (@styledsugarplum!)
Today, I’m discussing my picks for my Weekend Wish List and focusing on one of the stand-out trends for Fall and Winter: embellished and embroidered booties. I’m a bit obsessed with the featured look- it’s a modern twist on a 90s classic.
Let’s start with the clothes. The Chicwish pinstripe twist top with bell sleeves is a fun take on the button up collared shirt. The twist detail in the front and bell sleeves are such fresh, trendy details, yet it’s definitely a top that can transition into seasons from year to year. It’s paired with a H&M front button A-line skirt to anchor the outfit. This is a really great fall staple that you can easily wear into winter with a sweater and tights with booties. At only $25, it’s SUCH a versatile piece to add to your wardrobe. I also love this Dark Grey Batwing Blazer. It’s a blazer, it’s a cape, it’s a blazercape! I love the unique design and I could definitely see this as an outer layer for your 9-5, as well as happy hour when it’s quittin’ time.
Moving to the accessories and then to the main event…
I am in LOVE with saddle bags this year and this Rebecca Minkoff Isobel Saddle Bag is a prime cut of saddle bag meat. (😳 Ew, okay that was definitely an analogy gone wrong, but I’m keeping it for effect.🙈) The antique white color is gorgeous and this is a bag that you could wear all year long. It can pass for winter white and is bright enough to roll with the vibrant summer colors, too. AND I’ve got good news! It’s on sale for 50% OFF!!! It’s regularly $295, but currently on sale for $148. That is a crazy good deal for Rebecca Minkoff, and if you don’t have any of her pieces yet, this would be a great investment to start your collection!
So, it’s no secret that chokers are back. I’ve talked about it several times on Instagram and possibly here too… I can’t keep up because I’m literally obsessed with all things 90s right now. I chose the Whitely Choker from BaubleBar for this look because it adds a simple, feminine detail with the bow and it’s not too extravagant that it overpowers the look (since the booties are the show stopper here.) For $28, it’s a fab price for a trendy piece of 90s history. Bauble Bar’s Sarice Druzy Drop earrings round out the accessories for a little sparkle and drama near your face, and tie in the black and gold bling. Added bonus: Use the code “BOO25” from now until Monday for an extra 25% off your purchase!
Okay, NOW let’s talk shoes! I am all about adding unexpected details to elevate a look. Most of my looks revolve around the accessories. Basically, anytime I get ready, I reference the “Frost Yourself” slogan from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. So, imagine this as foot frosting. (What is wrong with me today with these analogies?!? Once again, EWWWWW!😜😖)But seriously, one trend that I’m completely in love with this season would have to be embroidered and embellished booties. The ones I’ve featured in this look are Topshop and only $70! I’ve seen similar designer styles from Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, Chloé, and Salvatore Ferragamo that range from $500-$2,000, so Topshop has spared our wallets from extreme depression with an affordable designer dupe without sacrificing quality!
You can shop these items from the featured look below and continue reading for more embellished and embroidered bootie styles.

Below, I’ve hand-picked several other styles for this trend spotlight and separated them into dressy and casual categories. If you have a fall or winter wedding on the books this season, any of the dressy styles would be perfect and oh so glam! I don’t know about you, but besides pumps (which are wonderful, don’t get me wrong), sometimes I have a hard time finding a dressy boot/bootie for winter. These could definitely add flair to your favorite little black dress for a date night look, too!
The casual styles are just a fun approach for day looks and would be ah-dorable with skinnies, basic tee, and a soft, cozy cardigan. 💥BOOM! There’s your look. Sometimes, (especially in the pre-coffee, early morning hours after my son wakes up) it’s hard for me to put something together that’s stylish, comfortable AND functional. When you add the detail to your footwear, it instantly makes the outfit seem 1. more expensive and 2. FRESH AF…just sayin! Shop some of my top picks below for this trend below! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Halloween!!! Until next time✌️️| Stay spooky, sugarplum!💋 (I just had to!👻)
