Hey y’all! Happy weekend! I can’t believe Tuesday is Halloween and Wednesday is NOVEMBER! Ahhh where did October go? Cooler temperatures finally made their way to South Carolina last week and I am so thankful! This welcomed temperature drop totally got me in the mood for a fall fashion collage. I actually posted this picture to Instagram a few weeks ago, but I wanted to post it here too because I am loving these staples and fall color palette! Everything has a unique twist to it and I love the details. I linked everything below the picture!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Halloween!
You can shop my lace top (it’s the Raleigh top and they have several similar styles also) here: Gray Monroe

I hope you have an awesome week! I’m working on a blog post for later this week that includes two items that are total game changers for me! Can’t wait to share them with you! Also, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still in full swing! Items are getting restocked daily, so make sure to check out my *NSALE* Menu up at the main menu with all my top favorites! Stay styled, sugarplum!
Hey y’all! Today, I’m really excited to introduce you to a company that I know you’ll fall in love with like I did. There’s nothing better than a company with a mission, so without further adieu, meet Jimani Collections. Jimani Collections strives to achieve a sustainable solution for poverty in Kenya through employment and female empowerment. Jimani Collections has partnered with women in these impoverished areas who needed an outlet for their talents, but lacked a safe workplace and the business tools to make that happen. They offer ongoing education and training, so that these talented artisans can showcase their work through beautifully well-made, handcrafted pieces. Not only are they skilled in making jewelry, but in accessories and small home decor goods as well. Jimani Collections gives them the opportunity they wouldn’t have otherwise. I love the attention to detail in everything… it shows the passion and love they share for this company and its purpose. You can read their entire backstory here.
I’m wearing the beautiful Asha Zahara Beaded Seed Bracelet. I love the multiple beaded strands and the gold/grey colors together. It’s a delicate piece that can be worn alone or stacked with others. Because of the neutral colors, this is a bracelet that transition easily and can be worn from season to season. All of the components for this bracelet were sourced from the markets in Nairobi. I also fell in love with their home decor section (especially the basekets!) Below, I listed some of my favorites from both collections.
Make sure to check out their website and browse these special pieces first hand! It’s so very inspiring! Check it out here.
I’m slowly receiving a few things that I purchased from the Nordstrom Sale, so I’ll share those after I receive everything! I hope you have a great rest of the week and stay styled, sugarplum!
This is it y’all! The BIGGEST sale of the year is here! *Strike up the band! Sound the alarm! Alert the media! Okay you get it… SO, if you aren’t familiar with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (Nsale for short), let me give you a quick rundown. During the Nsale, Nordstrom releases all of their brand new, most popoular fall merchandise and offers everything at reduced sale pricing. When the event ends, all the remaining items will be sold at full price! How awesome is it that you can shop all of Fall’s hottest looks, trends, and designers at a huge discount!?!? Nordstrom’s got your back yo! Also, it’s free shipping and free returns…so if something doesn’t work, just stick it in the box it came in and send it on it’s way back! FO FREE!
Right now, they are offering early access for Nordstrom cardholders. There are two types of Nordstrom cards, a debit card and a credit card option. I have the debit option and you still receive the Nordstrom Notes (special $20 rewards that you can earn from purchasing with your card) and purchases are conveniently debited directly from your bank account. Early access starts TODAY (July 13) and runs through July 20. The sale is officially open to the public starting on July 21st and runs through August 6th. I highly recommend going ahead and applying for a card to gain access to the sale now, because items and sizes sell out SUPER fast! Below, you’ll find my wish list along with my faves (most under $100) in each fashion and beauty category! ALSO-most everything you see is available in multiple colors/prints so if you like the style… click it and check it out because odds are, it’s available in other colors! Happy shopping!

That’s a wrap, y’all! I hope you enjoyed my Anniversary Sale Roundup and don’t forget to snag your favorite items as soon as possible! This is a really popular sale and things will sell out very quickly! Have a rockin’ rest of the week and I’ll be back on Sunday with a very special post about a company that I can’t wait to share with y’all! Stay styled, sugarplum!
Hey y’all! I hope you had an awesome July 4th holiday! We were at the beach for 5 days and it was amazing! Family time, sun, sand, fireworks, good drinks and food, and unplugging from technology was just what the doctor ordered! It’s amazing what a little beach time can do for you! I’m back feeling so refreshed! So, today I wanted to write a quick post for you about a few accessories that are giving me all the heart eyes. If you follow me on social media, you know I’m 100% accessory obsessed. I’m a true blue believer in frosting yourself…movie reference anyone? Baublebar is always my go-to for fun, affordable jewelry and a while back, they introduced their collaboration with Target called SUGARFIX. I wrote a blog post introducing the line back when I heard the news.. you know, when the heavens parted and the angels sang! Target for the win (always!) Well, they recently introduced a ton of new googly-eye inducing baubles to the line, so I wanted to showcase a few of the beautiful pieces they were kind enough to send me!
I couldn’t help but think to pair these two beauties with hot pink. In my opinion, you always make more of a statement with the spotlight on just one showstopper bauble and both the Mixed Media Squash Blossom earrings and the Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace will definitely achieve that look. The main thing I love the most is that they look WAAAAAY more expensive than $15 and $25. Can you even believe that? They aren’t cheap feeling either…both are very well made and have substantial weight that definitely makes them feel more luxe. I love the mix of marble, gold/silver, turquoise, and diamonds in both pieces…it adds so much dimension and contrast. I linked similar styles below the pictures so you can take a look at a few more of their pieces!
Also big news on the accessory front, Gigi New York is having a HUGE summer sale right now! The hot pink clutch in my first picture is from Gigi and I purchased it at the end of last summer during the sale then! They just added a ton of colors and styles, so if you’re in the market for a new bag- you MUST check it out! It’s definitely one of my favorite clutches. The quality is on point and although they are a bit more expensive than what I’d normally spend on a bag, it’s well worth the investment (especially when they’re marked down to 50% off!) You can shop my hot pink clutch here and the entire summer sale here.
I hope you find lots of goodies by checking out the Gigi sale and settle your sweet tooth craving with Sugarfix! Don’t forget the absolute BIGGEST sale of the year starts next week (for cardholders) with the *drumroll please* NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE! I’ll definitely be writing a blog post about it because it’s the only time that you can score all of Fall’s hot, new merchandise at ridiculously discounted prices! After the sale ends on August 7, the prices go back to regular price for the rest of the season. So, it’s basically an after-season sale before the season starts! Have a great weekend and stay styled, sugarplum!
