June Instagram Roundup

Hey guys! Hope you’re having a fabulous weekend! Well, that fancy anniversary date that my hubby and I had planned for Saturday night didn’t quite work out. Our son was sick allllllll night on Friday and Saturday morning, so we didn’t feel right about leaving him! We ended up having movie day all day and the hubby and I had a lavish dinner feast of pizza, breadsticks, and beer…fancy! Baby boy is totally fine now, (thank goodness!) so I’ll be bringing you that summer date night look very soon! In the meantime, I thought I’d do an Instagram roundup of a few of my June looks and include some current sales!

I snagged this keyhold neckline jacquard tank from Old Navy and they’re currently running a 40% off everything sale making it under $20. Pretty sweet! Also, these H&M shorts are the best…and only $9.99! I’m loving this pop of color with the foldover bag, it’s such an easy way to add some color to your look and on sale for only $18! I’ve just discovered a new brand of sunglasses: Nectar Sunglasses. They have a ton of styles at super affordable prices…most are under $50! I have the Clubby Round Sunglasses.

This Old Navy romper is one of my new favorite things for summer. (Do I say that about everything? So many favorites right now…haha!) But really, it is a really lightweight fabric, so perfect for summer heat. With the 40% sale they have running now, it’s under $20- crazy good deal! I love the detail with the flowy top layer and the pattern mixing. I’ve paired it with neutral accessories and a bold color gladiator sandal. This particular color is sold out, but I’ve linked a ton of fun colors below. This Kendra Scott cuff has been on repeat lately. It retails for over $100, but with Rocksbox, you can try out designer jewelery, send back if you’re not feelin it, or keep for a discounted price! I purchased this cuff for almost 50% off! Like, seriously…you need to sign up yesterday! I’m so impressed with the quality of jewels and customer service from Rocksbox and you can totally try it out for one month FREE with the code: styledsugarplumxoxo. If you’d like more information about the company and how it works- here’s my blogpost with all the deets here: Rocksbox This isn’t fashion related, BUT the lipcolor I’m sporting is my latest obsession. It’s Mac Cosmetics: D is for Danger. It’s the perfect red in my opinion. It’s a matte finish and is the perfect balance of bright red and berry tones. I absolutely love it! It’s long-lasting and smearproof. Perfect for July 4th celebrations! I always love to add a bold lip to add a little something extra to my look. I’m sure you’ll be seeing a lot more of this color in future blog posts!

This maxi dress is from J Crew Factory (under $60)and super versatile for any summer occasion. I dressed it up with heels and bling for my cousin’s outdoor wedding in May, but have styled it here with my trusty lace up gladiators and a bold necklace for a casual family dinner and stroll downtown a few weeks ago. This BP. crossbody bag from Nordstrom has been a staple in my wardrobe since the fall…fantastic quality for a bag under $35.

This outfit definitely screams summer, and would be a perfect casual date night look. The printed palm leaf tank is bright and vibrant (palm print is so trendy right now), and pairs perfectly with the white distressed denim skinnies. These Kenneth Cole espadrille mules are SOO comfy (comfort is key!) and come in three different colors. The greyish bone color I have is such a perfect neutral, I’m sure you’re probably sick of seeing them in my posts because I’ve worn them so much! I can’t help it y’all! I’ve also styled it with statement earrings from BaubleBar Bliss Drops ($34) to add some drama to the look and my Kendra Scott cuff.

This look is classic, chic, and effortlessly stylish…great for running errands, a coffee date, or grabbing a quick casual lunch. These Soludos striped lace up espadrilles are really the showstoppers for this outfit. They add character so that it’s not so plain jane. The pink purse also adds a subtle pop of color and compliments the light blue chambray. Everyone needs a classic chambray shirt in their wardrobe. It’s the ultimate must-have staple and can be layered in the winter with sweaters, with light scarves in the fall, and even unbuttoned and used as a jacket for cool summer nights over lightweight dresses.

So, my purse is a Rebecca Minkoff look-alike…I linked a few other budget friendly styles of similar light pink bags in the linked pictures above. BUT if you want the real deal…I’ve linked two below if you wanna splurge!

This fun gingham romper is perfect for July 4. Gingham was a huge pattern trend over the last few months, and gives off such a preppy, cute summer vibe. Don’t hate me BUT this particular romper is sold out…so I’ve linked several other gingham options below for you. I’ve styled it with a long statement necklace and a bright lace up flat. I also used a cognac tassel backpack to finish off the look- this backpack has been everywhere with me from airport travel to Disney World. It’s also a great option if you plan on doing some serious shopping or any sort of activity where you’d need access to both arms/hands. I use it when we take our little one to the aquarium because it’s large enough to carry some of the necessities for him without lugging another backpack of his stuff, and it’s conveniently on my back for when I want to lift him up to see and discover! And as you can see, I’m definitely getting my wear out of my Kendra Scott cuff! Funny enough, it’s named after my son! It’s the “Lawson” cuff…you KNOW I had to have it! It was fate!
