Happy Wednesday! Halfway finished with the week- the weekend is now a bright ray of hope in the near distance! My cousin is getting married on Saturday, so it should be a good one! 🍾 I’m SO excited about the celebrations ahead: Cinco de Mayo on Thursday, wedding fun Friday and Saturday, Mother’s Day Sunday- whew! 💕 Before I get too carried away though…behold my newest obsession: bell sleeves. They make me feel like a 90’s boho princess. I feel like this trend has the edginess of The Craft, boho vibes from Dazed and Confused, romaticism of The Princess Bride, and style courtesy of Rachel Green from Friends. (Am I showing my age yet?) But in all seriousness, this trend offers an airy, pretty little detail to your wardrobe that will be perfect for spring days and then cooler summer nights. I’ve styled it with denim shorts, a neutral bag, and my beloved gladiators for a more casual vibe.
- Bell Sleeve Blouse- H&M $14.99
- Denim cuffed shorts- H&M $9.99
- Neutral Bag Option 1- Target $26.99
- Neutral Bag Option 2- Urban Outfitters $34
- Neutral Bag Option 3- Sole Society $44.95
- Ray Bans- 54mm Erika Classic $97.50
- Target Black Leone Gladiators- $24.99
You could also wear a black button down skirt with flatforms for a dressier day look, or with lace up heels and clutch for a night.
- Flatform Sandal- Sole Society $74.95
- Tassel lace up shoe Boots- Asos $62
- Button Front Skirt- Target $19.99
So, behind the scenes: I’m in the process of giving the blog a MAJOR facelift this week, and I’m really excited to step up my game for you!! Also, be on the lookout for my *3 May must-haves* coming at ya Friday under the Wish List tab in the menu! I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week and fun Cinco de Mayo! 🎉🍹🍻 We’ll be taking it easy, just eating at our favorite neighborhood Mexican restaurant. I’ll be sipping on margaritas and stuffing my face with chips til my arms fall off…maybe even crack the case on this never-ending struggle:
Until next time ✌️|Stay styled, sugarplum!💋
